1/3 cup apple juice
1/3 cup pure vermont maple syrup
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1-2 minced cloves
4 salmon fillets

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine first five ingredients; divide in half an refrigerate on half for basting. Pour remaining marinade into a large sealable plastic bag. Add salmon to bag and seal it, then turn to coat both sides.
2. Refrigerate for 1-3 hrs
3. Drain and discard marinade. Broil salmon 4ins from heat for 5 min. Baste with reserved marinade and broil 10 mins longer or until fish flakes easily with a fork, basting frequently

I let it marinade overnight. Basting it frequently while cooking is important because it dries out very quickly and can start to burn a little
