1 1/2 cups of small pasta--(thimble shaped or elbow)
1/4 cup of olive oil
2 teaspoons of minced garlic
5 plum tomatoes (about one pound) chopped
8 oz of cold fresh mozzarella, drained, cit into 1/2 inch cubes
8 large fresh basil leaves, coarsely chopped

Bring large saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until tender but firm; stirring often to prevent pasta from sticking together, about 8 minutes. drain.
Meanwhile, ins heavy skilled heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and saute until fragrant, about one minute. Add tomatoes and saute until heated through, about tow minutes. add the cooked pasta. Remove from heat . Add cheese and basil. Toss and coat. Salt and pepper to taste.
