1 whole orange
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup finely chopped dates
1 egg
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar
dash salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cut orange in 1/2 inch pieces and remove seeds. Drop into blender and blend until fine. Add juice, dates, egg and butter and blend again.
Into separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
Pour wet mixture into dry and mix lightly.
Spoon into greased muffin tin and bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes.
