5 1/2 cups prepared fruit
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 box MCP pectin
1/2 teaspoon butter
8 cups sugar

Prepare jars and lids (cover lids with boiling water and let sit until ready to use.


Pit unpeeled apricots chop, measure exactly 3 cups prepared apricots into large sauce pan. Measure exactly 2 1/2 cups crushed pineapple drained, into sauce pan mix well add lemon juice. Stir pectin into fruit mixture, add butter to prevent foaming. Bring mixture to full rolling boil (a boil that doesn't stop boiling when stirred) on high heat stirring constantly. Stir in sugar, return to a full rolling boil and boil exactly 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Skim off any foam with metal spoon. Ladle immediately into prepared jars filling to within 1/8 inch of tops. Wipe jar rims and threads. Cover with two-piece lids. screw bands tightly.
