1 c. flour
2 T. sugar
1/2 c. butter

Combine to make a crumb mixture. Press into 9 X 9 pan. Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes.

Filling:
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 egg yolks, beaten thick
2 1/4 c. rhubarb, cut fine
1/3 c. cream
2 T. flour

Cook and stir until thickened. Cool and pour into crust.

Meringue:
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
add 1/2 c. sugar

Pile meringue on dessert and bake until brown.
