1 cup warm water, 1/4 cup shortening, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 pkg. yeast, 1 egg, and enough self rising flour to mix

dissolve yeast in warm water, add remaining ingredients, let rise once then make out into rolls or cinnamon. rolls, let rise again and bake
