1 tsp. Italian seasonings
1 (14 oz.) jar pizza sauce
4 large hamburger buns
4 slices mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Mix Italian seasonings (oregano, basil, rosemany blend) into ground chuck. Form meat into four large, thin patties. Place in a large, deep skillet and cook over medium-high heat until evenly browned. Remove from heat and drain excess fat. In a saucepan, heat pizza sauce. Lightly toast or steam hamburger buns; spoon a dollop of pizza sauce onto the bottom of each bun and spread around. Place one patty on each bun and top with cheese and another dollop of sauce. Microwave for 10 - 15 seconds, or until cheese is melted. Put the top on the pizza burger, brush with melted butter, and lightly salt with kosher salt. Enjoy!

Personal Notes:
Sadly, Angelo's is no longer in business. When we moved to Corpus Christi in 1967, Angelo's Drive-Inn Restaurant and Luciano's Restaurant were our only sources for Italian food. Angelo's served pizza and pizza burgers until 2005. Luciano's still makes a mean lasagna.
