Boil to 245 degrees (very thick syrup):
2 c. sugar
few grains of salt
2 c. light corn syrup

Gradually add:
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sego milk or cream

1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Add milk gradually so the mixture doesn't stop boiling. Heat rapidly to firm ball stage (235º). Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into well-buttered pan. Cut with a heavy sharp knife.
