1/2 cup butter softened
1-1/2 cups firmly packed brn sugar
1 large egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
4 large peaches, peeled and diced
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350degrees. Crease a l3x9 baking dish and set aside. In a large bowl cream the butter and brn sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg. In a small bowl sift the flour with baking soda and salt. Alternately add flour mixture and buttermilk to butter mixture, beat until smooth. Gently fold in peaches. Pour in the prepared dish. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the cake. Bake for 30 to 35 Minutes.

Just found this recipe in a Bless Your Heart Cookbook. I am going to try this afternoon, got some fresh peaches. Deer are eating my new trees. Don't know about next year. Hope to have
