2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat ocen to 350º. Sift together flour and salt. Set aside. Blend butter, sugar, vanilla. Beat in egg. Stir in flour mixture, chopped nuts, and chocolate chips. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place in ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes. Cool slightly. Roll in powered sugar.

Jennie Silva, Dave Silva's mom, gave this recipe to Linda. This recipe is Linda's favorite kitchen gift to others at Christmas time. She makes it each year for Dave's siblings to honor their mother.
