3 c. sugar
1 heaping cup Crisco
5 t. soda
1 t. salt
2 c. boiling water
4 c. All-Bran
2 c. 100% Bran
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
4 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water of 100% Bran cereal. Cool. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, buttermilk, and All-Bran. Add 100% Bran. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add all at once just until dry ingredients are moistened. Bake 13 - 20 minutes at 400º.
