3 to 4 lb. brisket, rump roast, or pot roast
1 can peeled, sliced potatoes, drained
2 pkg. peeled baby carrots
1 can beef consommé
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put carrots in bottom of crock pot. Put potatoes on top of carrots. Salt and pepper vegetables. PLace meat on top. Salt and pepper meat. Add beef consommé. Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours (or high 4-5 hours). Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. While rice or potatoes are cooking, mix 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup water to make paste. Stir into crock pot to thicken gravy.
