Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 large peaches, washed and dried
pastry for 1 deep dish pie crust
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. almond extract
1 egg, well beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Divide pie crust into 4 equal parts. Wrap each piece around a peach encasing the peach completely. Use any scraps of dough to form leaves and stems on top of dough. Attach by brushing with egg wash. Place encased peaches in an ungreased 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until crush is Brown. While peaches are baking, make the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat. Whisk in powdered sugar and almond extract. Gradually whisk in egg. Return to medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture bubbles.
Delicious when served warm.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Everyone asks if they should cut the peach open and remove to pit before baking. That is not necessary. Cook the peach and pit without cutting it open.
