1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
5 eggs
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla exract
1 cup buttermilk
1 unbaked pastry shell .

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in flour, lemon juice and vanilla.
Stir in buttermilk and pecans. Pour inthe pie shell. Bake at 325º for 55 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Store in the refrig.

This is a "Golden Oldie" that my Mama Lillie use to make. Grandaddy loved to crack and peal pecans. He was alway available to do this for all.
I miss this pie, but not as much as miss Mama
Lillie and Grandaddy.
