Shuck, silk, and wash fresh corn. Cut the corn from the cob and if you choose, you can scrape the cob as well. When all is cut, place the corn on the stove in cooker and bring to a boil at medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently to keep from sticking. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Put in freezer storage bags and allow to totally cool, even if necessary to leave overnight before placing in the freezer.

Once ready to eat, thaw and place the corn on the stove. Add butter and salt to taste and cook approximately 5-10 minutes before serving.
Optional, add a small amount of sugar!
