3 slices whole wheat bread
3 slices turkey
3 slices ham
3 slices Wisconsin cheddar
3 slices baby Swiss

1 egg
1 c water
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1 T baking powder
vegetable oil for deep frying
Directions:
Directions:
place turkey & Swiss on one slice of bread & ham and Wisconsin cheese on another slice
now place third slices on each + third slice of whole wheat bread
secure corners and edges with toothpicks
place egg in mixing bowl, add water and beat
add salt, sugar, flour & baking powder
beat batter until very smooth
dip and dredge sandwich in batter & carefully cover all sides and surface
carefully place in hot oil & fry until golden brown
remove when golden brown to paper towel to drain
let cool, remove toothpicks
slice into fourths
douse with powdered sugar
serve with raspberry jam
