Slice and cook 4 squash - drain
Add: 1 carton sour cream mixed with 1 can mushroom soup.
Saute: one onion in bacon drippings* and add to sour cream/mushroom mixture. *This recipe really taste better if bacon grease is used. I use 2 pcs. of bacon and you can crumble on the top of casserole.
Pepperidge Farm Stuffing mix.

Gentle fold squash into sour cream/mushroom soup. Spray Pam on pyrex dixh and put Pepperidge Farm dry stuffing mix on bottom. Add squash mixture; salt and pepper to taste. Put another layer of stuffing on top. Cover with lid or reynolds wrap and bake for 350º for 30 minutes. Cheese can also be added to this recipe if desired.
