1 1/4 cups flour
2/3 cup brown sugar (divided)
3/4 cup margarine (softened)
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups salted mixed nuts
1 1/2 cups candied cherries (cut up)
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour with 1/3 cup of the brown sugar. Cut in margarine until mixtures resembles course crumbs. Press mixture evenly and firmly onto bottom of ungreased 15x10 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Meanwhile beat egg slightly in a bowl. Stir in remaining brown sugar and salt. Add nuts, cherries and chocolate chips. Toss mixture lightly to coat and spoon evenly over baked layer. Press firmly to adhere layers.
Bake for 20 minutes. Cool and cut.
