1 C white sugar
1 C brown sugar
1/2 C milnot or cream
1/2 C cup white syrup (scant 1/2 cup)
1 tsp vanilla
nuts

3 T cocoa (if chocolate is desired)


Directions:
Directions:
Cook all ingredients (except cocoa) for 7 minutes or soft bal stage in cold water. Add 1 tsp vanilla and nuts to taste. beat as it cools.

For chocolate- cook as above. Set off heat and add 3 T of cocoa, cook again 3-4 minutes. Add vanilla and beat til cool. Pour on platter.
