Ingredients: 6 Jalapeños 4 oz. pkg soft cream cheese 1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 C. brown sugar 1 T chili powder

Directions:Cut Jalapeños in half lengthwise Remove seeds and rinse In a bowl, Blend both cheeses. Stuff jalapeño half with cream cheese mixture Wrap jalapeños with 1/2 slice bacon Roll in brown sugar mixture and place on a baking sheet bake at 350º for 30 min. Yum!! |

Notes: Pat and I made these for a party and they are fantastic! I thought they would be too spicy because of the peppers but they aren't at all. they are almost sweet tasting. WARNING!! don't touch your face or eyes when you are seeding or rinsing the peppers! I scratched my cheek and rubbed my eyes never giving it a thought until the searing pain kicked in 10 sec. later. Ha, ha . I had to stand over the sink while Pat dumped water on my eye. I wasn't a pretty sight by the time we went to the party with my swollen, very bloodshot eye. It was worth it though, because everyone at the party raved about them and all 3 dozen that we made were gone in 20 minutes! Enjoy.
