1 acorn squash
1 tsp. salt
butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cut squash in half, remove seeds and strings. Place cut side down in 1 inch of water and add salt. Bake for 30 minutes.

Pour water off, turn squash over and pierce flesh with a fork. Cover flesh with butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar to taste. Bake an additional 40 minutes.
