¼ c (½ stick) margarine
4 large apples, cored and sliced
¾ c brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:
In a frying pan melt margarine. Add apples and cook until tender, about 12 minutes. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. Stir and cook until sugar dissolves and creates a syrup, about 3 minutes.
