1 1/2 C. sugar
2 C. flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

2 eggs, beaten
1/2 C. Crisco or margarine
1 #303 can fruit cocktail

1/2 C. nuts
1/2 C. brown sugar

Icing:
1 stick margarine
1 C. sugar
1 small can of carnation milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Add beaten eggs, crisco or margarine and fruit cocktail. Mix together to make batter and pour into a 9 x 13 baking pan. Mix nuts and brown sugar together, sprinkle over batter. Bake at 325º for about 45 minutes.

While cake is baking, mix together icing ingredients in a saucepan and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Pour over cake while still warm.
