About 16 slices white bread, crusts removed
8 to 10 eggs
Diced ham, about 4 cups (can use cooked veggies, like chopped asparagus)
8 oz. (2 c.) shredded Swiss cheese (or any white cheese)
8 oz. (2 c.) shredded cheddar cheese
1-2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp onion salt (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
3 cups milk

Grease a deep 9 by 13 baking dish with butter or margarine. Cover bottom of dish with bread slices. Spread half the cheese and half the ham over bread slices and cover with another layer of bread slices. Spread on remaining cheese and ham. Beat together eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Pour egg mixture over bread/cheese/ham in baking dish. Bake uncovered at 375º for 30-40 minutes until brown and bubbly. Serves 8 to 10.
