1 large cabbage - remove core
1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion - chopped
1 egg - beaten
1/4 cup instant rice
Salt & Pepper
Sauce:
2 sticks of butter
1/4 cup cracker crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ground beef, onion, salt & pepper, and egg - set aside. In large pan boil water with a little salt added. Put cabbage in it and steam it until you can take leaves apart. Into each leaf put some meat mixture and roll it up. Keep together with toothpicks. Continue until all mea mixture has been used. Place cabbage rolls back into hot salted water and cook on a low simmer until done, about one hour. Remove from water and place on platter. Melt butter and mix with cracker crumbs - pour over cabbage rolls.
