1 frozen puff pastry sheet -- thawed
1 egg
1 Tbsp water
1/4 c shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp coarsely ground black pepper & lemon pepper
optional:dried rosemary, basil, thyme or any spices you like

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400*. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Press together seams of puffed pastry..
Whisk egg and water together and brush on pastry.
Sprinkle with cheese and peppers and spices you want to use, pressing lightly into pastry with your fingers.

Cut pastry into 24 strips, each slightly more than 1/2" wide.
Twist each strip and place on baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until golden.
Serve warm or at room temperature.

Tip: Double the recipe and freeze the second batch, unbaked, on cookie sheet.
Then seal in a plastic bag and keep frozen up to a month.
Bake frozen twists 10 to 15 minutes, until golden.
