2 pounds ground beef, 5 C water, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 onion, chopped, 2 cans condensed tomato soup, 1/4 C sugar (I don't use this much so just sugar to taste). 2 large potatoes, cubed

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet, on medium heat, brown beef until it is done, about 10 minutes, drain off fat. Add water, salt and onion. Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Add tomato soup, sugar and potatoes, Simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are cooked. Serve with crackers or homemade bread and butter. I sometimes add carrots or other vegetables.
