2 cups brown sugar
2 cups hot water
2 T. fat
1 box raisins
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Boil all ingredients together for 5 minutes. Cool. When cold, add 1 tsp. soda dissolved in 1 tsp. hot water. Add 3 cups flour. Bake in two bread tins 45 minutes in slow oven. Better when it is a week old.
