1 pound fresh asparagus
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. vegetable broth
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 pinch black pepper
1 1/4 c. vegetable broth
1 cup milk
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
1. Place asparagus and onion in sauce pan with 1/2 c. broth, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender
2. Place in blender and puree until smooth.
3. Melt butter in same pan, stir while sprinkling flour, salt & pepper into butter. Do not let the flour brown. Cook 2 minutes. Stir in remaining broth and increase heat. Continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil.
4. Stir puree and milk into saucepan. Whisk yogurt into the mixture, followed by lemon juice. Stir until heated through. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
