9 quarts popped corn ( 4 bags of microwave popcorn) choose least salty or buttery. Remove unpopped kernels.

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup white karo syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and karo for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat-add soda quickly. Pour on top of popcorn and stir to distribute. Bake in preheated 250º oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15-20 minutes. After removing from oven, stir constantly until cooled to keep it from clumping together-about 3-5 minutes. Store in ziploc bag or cookie tin.
