1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
4 T. sour milk (I use reg. milk)
1 egg beaten
1 1/2 cups flour
2 good sized bananas (ripe, mashed)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt

Caramel Frosting:
1 cup brown sugar
3 T. cream
1 T. butter
vanilla to taste

Cake: bake 30 minutes in 400º oven (I generally turn it down to 375º and add a minute or two).
