1 butternut squash
1 small onion diced
1 tsp olive oil
2 to 3 cups chicken broth
1 cup half and half
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp sage
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions:
Cut squash in half, remove seeds. Spray a baking sheet with pam. Roast squash cut side down on baking sheet 375 40 to 45 minutes or until soft. While squash is roasting saute onion in small amount of olive oil unil soft.
Scoop out pulp. Puree squash, onion and chicken broth in blender in batches until smooth. Return to saucepan add half and half and spices to taste. Heat through but do not boil. Serve with dollop of sour cream.
