2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
5 T. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream the butter, add the vanilla and stir. Sift flour and powdered sugar together and add to mixture. Then add the pecans.
2. After mixing all the ingredients together, form into long rolls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Warp in plastic and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Slice into thin cookies (about 1/4 inch) and place in a cookie sheet.
3. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes. Roll cookies in additional powdered sugar and cool. Makes about 5 dz.
