1/4 lb oleo, softened
1 c. flour
3 oz. cream cheese

FILLING:
1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 T melted oleo
dash of salt
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. Blend oleo and cream cheese until creamy. Add the flower and mix. Divide into 24 balls. Press each ball into a tart/mini muffin pan.
2. Sprinkle about 1/2 tsp. of chopped nuts into each pastry shell.
3. Mix egg, brown sugar, melted oleo, salt, and vanilla and spoon about 1 tsp. of this mixture on top of the nuts in the shells. Sprinkle the remaining nuts on top of the tarts.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 274 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes.
5. Let cool for 10 minutes and remove from pan. A knife is good to break them loose from the pan out on a rack and cool.
