1/2 bag frozen corn, defrosted (roughly 2 cups)
1 small box Flako corn bread mix (Jiffy also works)
muenster cheese
5 oz. milk
2 Tbsp. melted Crisco or shortening
8-oz. can creamed corn
2 eggs
10 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. anise
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. raisins (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Mix defrosted corn with creamed corn in a blender. Add eggs, milk, sugar, and salt. Empty into a bowl and add corn bread mix, anise, cinnamon, and shortening (also optional raisins). Grease the pan and pour the preparation; add slices of cheese. Bake 30 min. on lower rack and 30 min. on top rack.
