1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef (ground turkey is also okay)
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 beaten egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup catsup
1/2 tsp. Accent
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. summer savory

Directions:
Directions:
Combine, form into a loaf and place on shallow baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 min., or 350 for 45 min. This is also very good served cold for sandwiches.

This recipe came from the Red Oak restaurant in Bishop Hill, Illinois, where it was a favorite on the menu as an open-faced sandwich on dark bread with a sweet dill sauce on top.
