3/4 c. sugar
1 c. all purpose flour
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. water
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together; 3/4 c. sugar, flour, 2 tbsp. cocoa, baking powder and salt into a 9 in. sq. pan. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Then spread evenly in pan. Combine 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour 1 1/2 c. water over batter mix in pan and bake at 350º for 40 minutes.
