Ingredients:  
1/2 gal water
1/2 cup pickling salt
1 heaping tbsp pickling spices
1 beef tongue
pigs feet

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together first three ingredients. Cool. Pour boiling water over beef tongue. Bring to a boil and cook 1/2 hour. Peel off white layer of tongue. In clean water boil for another 1/2 hour or until tender. Cool. Place in pickling brine. Let sit in fridge overnight. Clean pigs feet (remove hoofs and singe all hair off). Cook feet until tender in water and 2 tbsp. salt. Cool. Place in pickling brine overnight. Good snack food.
