3 tbsp chopped yellow onion, - 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar, - 1 1/2 cups sugar, - 2 tsp dry mustard, - 2 tsps salt, - 2 cups salad oil, - 3 tbsp poppy seeds.

1 Using a blender or food processor, mix onion and vinegar, blending until onions are finely chopped. - 2 Add sugar, mustard and salt. Blend again. With machine running, add oil slowly until the mixture thickens. - 3 Stir in poppy seeds. Store in Refrigerator.

Used on the usual fruit salads ------and also try tossing it over a salad of fresh spinach and lettuce, strawberries , oranges, avocados, and toasted almonds.
