3 cups cooked and drained squash, 2 eggs, beaten, 1 cup milk, 3/4 stick butter, melted, 1 TSR salt, 1 TSR pepper, l2 saltine crackers crumbled, 1 cup chopped onion, 1/2 plus 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese.

Preheat oven to 375º. In a mixing bowl combine the squash, eggs, milk, butter, salt, pepper, crackers, onion, and 1/2 grated cheese. Pour into a casserole dish. Cover with the remaining `1/2 cup grated cheese. Bake 45 minutes. Serve warm
