Crust: 6 tbsp butter, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 1 cup flour. l. In mixer or food processor, blend butter, powdered sugar and flour. Pat mixture gently into 9x9x2 inch pan. Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes until lightly brown.
Filling: 3 egg, 1 cup sugar, 3 tbsp flour, 4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice, strained. Zest of 1/2 lemon, powder sugar.

To mix and assemble.: 1. Using and electric mixer, beat eggs lightly. Add the granulated sugar and the flour, lemon juice, and zest. 2. Pour mixture over hot crust and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until mixture appears firm. This time varies with each over. Loosen custard from the edge of the pan while still warm. Cut into squares when cool.
