Judy's Cream Cheese Treats Recipe

Ingredients: 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1/3 cup maple syrup 1/4 cup butter, melted
8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup powdered sugar 2 tbl. butter, softened 2 1/2 cans (25 total) refrigerated biscuits

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º. Combine first 4 ingredients and spread on the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13" pan.
Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 tbl. butter until smooth.
Separate biscuit dough into 25 biscuits; press or roll each to a 4" circle. Spoon 1 tbl. cream cheese mixture onto center of each biscuit. Overlap dough over filling, forming finger-shaped rolls. Place rolls seam side down in 5 rows of 5 (or 4 rows of 5 if they don't all fit). Bake at 350º for 20 - 30 minutes or until light golden brown. Invert on serving tray. Serve warm and refrigerate any leftovers. |
