2 tbsp cornstarch - 2 Tbsp. cold water - 1/4 c. hot water - 3 egg whites - 6 Tbsp. sugar - 1 tsp vanilla - dash of salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Blend cornstarch and cold water; add hot water. Stir over low heat until thick. Let stand while beating egg whites. Beat whites until foamy, gradually add sugar and beat until stiff. Add salt and vanilla. With mixer on high beat in cornstarch mixture and beat well. Put on top of pie and bake 350º for l0 to l2 minutes
