3 c regular oats (not quick)
2 c sweetened puffed wheat cereal (Sugar Smacks)
1/2 c wheat bran or 1/4 c wheat germ/cinnamon wheat germ
2 T slivered almonds (chopped)

1/2 c applesauce
1/3 c honey
1 T brown sugar (optional)
1 T vegetable oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/2 c dried apricots (chopped)
1/2 c dried cranberries (chopped)
raisins (regular or cinnamon)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

In large bowl, combine oats, puffed wheat, bran/wheat germ and almonds (first 4 ingredients).

In saucepan on stove, combine applesauce, honey, brown sugar, oil, cinnamon and ginger.
Cook over medium heat 2 minutes or until honey is melted, stirring occasionally.

Pour applesauce mixture over oat mixture, stirring to coat.

Place mixture on a large baking sheet. Bake 350 for 20 minutes; gently stir and bake an addiitonal 10 minutes. Cool.

Stir in apricots, cranberries and raisins.

Store in plastic zipper bag.
