4 c, peeled, chopped apples-2 c. sugar-1 c. pecans-3 c. flour-1/2 tsp nutmeg-1/2 tsp cinnamon-pinch of salt-2 tsp. soda-1 c. oil-1 tsp. vanilla - 2 eggs beaten. 1 cup raisens

Mix apples, sugar and pecans in large bowl. Let stand 1 hr. Add dry ingredients to apples and mix. Add oil, vanilla and eggs and mix well. Do all mixing by hand. Pour into well greased tube pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hr or until done. I forgot the raisens. add at end before pouring into pan.

Nana's cake use to make all time in winter. Very Very Gooooood. I made 2 loaf pans instead of 1 big cake. Freezes good .
