1 box strawberry cake mix
1 box frozen sliced strawberries
1 box confectioner's sugar
1 medium container cool whip
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 8oz. package cream cheese

Directions:
Bake cake as directed on box. Allow to cool.

Drain strawberries and reserve liquid.

Punch holes in the bottom layer of the cake. ( I use a 9 x 13 pan and punch holes with the handle of a wooden spoon. )

Pour strawberry juice over cake.

In large bowl mix cream cheese and confectioner's sugar.
Add cool whip and mix well. Fold in the drained strawberries.

Frost cake with cream cheese mixture and top with fresh strawberries.
