Directions:
Drain fruit and save all juice except from apple
rings. Melt butter and add flour, sherry, 1/2 cup fruit juice, and sugar. Cook until thick. Pour over fruit which has been arranged in a large baking
dish (13 x 9). Bake at 325 degrees until bubbly,
about 35 minutes.. Refrigerate 24 hours. Warm
until bubbly before serving. For Christmas you
can use green or red cherries in the peaches, makes a pretty dish.
You can make this ahead 2 or 3 days before
using. It is very good with ham or turkey.

Receipe received from Mrs. Edward Roger Quillin,

Personal Notes:
You can double this receipe and the 13 x 9 will
hold total amount. You will also have enough
sauce without doubling.
I layer pineapple first, then apple rings, peaches
cut side up (will hold sauce) and fill in with apricots
or pears. Sometimes I use apricots and pears.
The more you warm this dish the better it gets.
Have been making this over forty years and always
at Thanksgiving with my wonderful family at
Emerald Isle, N. C. Johnsie and Pat Hale loves
this for breakfast.
