Ingredients:
Ingredients:
I Pound lean ground beef (or cubed chicken) or 2 cups unpeeled, sliced zucchini,
1 medium onion, diced
1 crushed garlic clove
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 eight oz can Italian tomatoes, crushed, with liquid
2 eight oz cans of plain tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 8 oz can tomato paste
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
Oregano (about 1 Tbsp)
3 Tbsp sugar
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the garlic in the olive oil and remove the garlic. Brown meat or zucchini with onion in olive oil. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste and water. Season with salt, pepper and oregano. Add sugar. Cook over low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring every 20- 30 minutes. You may need to add a little more water. (You can cook it for about 20 minutes and then put it in a crock pot and let it cook all day if you want to). About half an hour before serving, stir in the cheese. Remove from heat and let it sit while cooking the pasta. Stir at least twice.
Enjoy. This makes a lot but it is even better the next day.
