2 dozen sm. pods of peppers
1 large head of cabbage
3 c. white vinegar
2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
1 c. salt
1 gal. water

Directions:
Directions:
Make a brine of 1 gal water and 1 c. of salt. Wash and clean out pepper and soak in brine overnight. Drain and soak 1 hour in plain water. Drain again.
Shred cabbage and stuff peppers with the cabbage.
Place stuffed peppers upside down in pint jars.
Heat the vinegar, 2 c. water and sugar and pour mixture over peppers in jars. Seal and place in cold water bath and process 10 minutes.

If peppers are not upside down the cabbage will float out of peppers.
