2 1/2 # fryer, breasts, thighs or pork chops
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
2 tbs. grated onion or onion flakes
4 tsp. chicken bouillon in 3 1/2 c. water
salt & pepper
1/2 stick butter
3 oz. can mushrooms.

Directions:
Directions:
Flour and then brown the chicken or pork chops in a little oil. While it browns put the rice, salt & pepper in a casserole and strew grated onion about. Pour in the mushrooms, including liquid. Arrange chicken or pork chops on top, pour the bouillon over it and dot with butter. Cover. Bake at 350º for an hour.
